EZCD 5 can't see my Teac 40X12X48?

I have upgrade EZCD 5 Platinum from 5.x to 5.1.0.104, but it still cannot see my new Teac 40X12X48b CDR drive. I checked on the supported recorder on Roxio website, it indicates that this drive is compatible with 5.1b. So does that mean I have to wait for future update, and 5.1.0.104 is different from 5.1b?

Thanks for the help!
Alan

Try this patch:

http://softwareupdates.roxio.com/gm/Pro ... p_v51j.exe

It will update it to 5.1j

Thanks Ian! I have upgraded to 5J and EZ CD sees my Teac drive now. I just wonder why I can't find that update at Roxio website? Maybe I just missed it?

Thanks again,
Alan

It was probably on the same page you grabbed the other update. Its not an obvious link though.

Had the same trouble 2 weeks ago. My problem resulted from having downloaded some Nero products over the web. In doing so, the downloaded programs "took over" as the default software for using the burner. Had to un-install the Nero stuff, and then uninstall all of the Roxio, then re-install Roxio/EZ CD Creator software. Did the trick. Sorry for making my explanation so complicated for translation.
