I Need To Get Rid of Gaps

I'm using Adaptec Easy CD Creator 4 and when I copy a CD I get a 1-2 second gap between songs. The original CD doesn't have that gap only the one that I burn.
I have checked the box that says Disc At Once, thinking that this caused the gaps, but I still am getting them.
What can I do to get rid of them.
