Well, it probably isn't the newest version anymore, since they released 5.5.10.20 just today:

What kind of "music files" are you adding? Are you adding .wav files, .mp3 files, or something else? Are you creating a CD-A disc? Are you using Nero Express or the traditional, full interface?

Does it happen with any .wav file, or just one particular one? What is the exact error message you see?

Yes, I am also curious if this occurs with other audio files. And it's strange that you do not run into this issue in Nero Burning Rom mode.

We have seen a similar issue when you get an error message of 'Not Enough Space' when using Nero, Nero Express, or Nero Vision Express and below is the solutoin we normally use. But it should occur for all the programs.

Craig

Below is a possible solution...

Under Win2k:
Please uninstall Nero from your system using the Control Panels Add/Remove Program feature, and then delete the Ahead folder from the C:\Program Files directory.

Remove all traces of Nero (and Ahead) from Program Files and Winnt directories.

And remove traces of Nero in "Setupadi.log" and "apcompact.inf" and editted these out.
Reinstall and it should now work.
