Hi,
guys could you help me to make a bootable CD with Nero?
Here is my problem: I want to make a bootable Cd of XP
/the setup files are on my HDD/ and to add a couple more.
I tried the "CD-Rom boot" option in the nero but it's asking
me for a boot record source/only my FDD is selectable/
so from where to get a boot record?

Please help me burn my firs bootable CD :)

P.s. if it's going to help I vould find a bootable XP CD :P

I have a retail XP Home CD and it's bootable.
I have an OEM XP Home CD from Gateway and it's bootable.

What XP CD do you have that isn't bootable? Is it possible that your BIOS Setup isn't configured to boot from the CD? Mine wasn't on my Celeron 366 computer.

BBB, check your PM.

Corp versions of XP in many cases aren't bootable, some upgrade discs aren't and I've come across an OEM disc or two that wasn't bootable.

Yes all XP's are bootable yes
but I want to make my own bootable disk with SP1+some drivers on it
not only Windows XP, but if I just copy the XP files on the new CD
it's not going to be bootable:(
So I need some help on how to make this. To copy the XP files and to make the new disk bootable
