InCD

I have several CDRW's that have been formatted using InCD.

I however often do a disk copy and as a test do it to CDRW before burning to a CDR (often this is done as a test that a problem read is actually correct).

I however find that I cannot erase the CDRW in NERO as InCD has taken control of drive (a LG).

I then use CloneCD to "erase" the cdrw but even this reports that the drive is controlled by another pogram. I then choose "ignore" and erase the cdrw.

Is there any other way of doing this or can one disable InCD for a short while (without going the Start>Run>msconfig route)?

You can erase then with Nero. What you have to do is start Nero and then put the disc into the CD-RW drive. Then, Nero won't report that InCD is in control of the drive. You can erase the disc normally that way.

Thanks. Will try it that way. Habit made me do it the other way around.

The reason it needs to be done this way is so that Nero can get control of the drive before InCD. Please let us know how it works out! :D

BTW, you only need to start Nero before inserting the CD-RW when you want to erase the disc. You don't need to do this other times.

I now start up NERO and then insert the cd and it works beautifully.
Thanks all
