I have a mpgs on my hard drive, but want to save these files as VCD images instead (.nrg). How can I do this w/ Nero 5.5.7?

I usually save image files when doing a disc to disc copy and uncheck delete after copying. Is there a method to create these same images if the mpg is on my HD already?

thanks in advance

Create a new Video CD compilation, drag the mpg file into compilation window, choose "Image Recorder" as your output device (Recorder->Choose Recorder) and burn your project. Nero will prompt you for the location to store the resulting .nrg file.

You are welcome. And keep in mind that this method is a general one, applicable to any sort of CD you want to burn. Just select "Image Recorder" as the output device, and Nero will "burn" whatever project you are making to an .nrg image file.
