LG CED-8120B + Nero Error

I recently attempted to create an SVCD with nero and using the CED-8120.

When I started to burn I noticed it was going rather slowly at first, not the problem, so I left and when I came back I saw an error. I thought it was just something unusual and wouldn't happen again, so I attempted the burn again and stuck around to see what happens, and as soon as the CD-RW's buffer runs out that is when the error occurs.

If anyone knows what could be going on any help would be appreciated.

OS: Windows 2k

Welcome dsheller.

Looking up the drive on LG's site, the drive dose not have a form of buffer under run protection. The error you are expericing is most likly an under run error.
I would first make sure dma is enabled http://www.cdrlabs.com/phpBB/viewtopic.php?t=9668
Second I would make sure the drive is freshly defragmented before burning.
I would also try burning without other aplications runing in the background such as antivirus software and web browers.

Yea I figured the DMA stuff out by myself after spending a few hours on it lol, so that was the problem. Thank you for posting though.
