How to display the actual burning speed in nero 6?

In nero 5.5 we are able to display the actual spead of burning by modifying the registry table. However in nero 6 that registry entry is not found any more.

Can we still enable it? Thanks.

The default in Nero 6 is to see the true writing speed.

Thanks. Really? When I select a record speed, say, 52x, then during the burning it always indicates "write speed: writing at 52x":(

Edit: I added myself a DWORD entry "ShowSingleRecorderSpeed" to the registry table. Now I can choose "determine the maximum speed" and the real speed is displayed.

I disagree that the default in Nero 6 is to display the actual write speed. I have Nero 6 Ultra (got at BestBuy a week ago) and it only says "buring at 48X", not the actual speed. Is there a way to change that? To computation, where exactly did you add the DWord? Could you be more specific?
Thanks!

I don't have 6, but presumably it is the same registry key as in 5.5:

Specifically, look at this post:

Anyway, it shouldn't hurt to give it a try. You might need to modify the Nero root key if it has been changed to something that reflects Nero 6. For example, it might now say "Nero - Burning Rom 6" instead of just "Nero - Burning Rom". I don't know that it has or has not changed like this, but it would be something to check if the patch doesn't work as is.

Thanks. That worked like a charm. I created the new DWord and set it to "1". No, displays actual real-time burning speed.
