note: these are the same CD Speed and DriveSpeed that come with Nero 6.

a couple of weeks ago Nero InfoTool V2.00 was released.
apparently the Nero Toolkit V2 is part of Nero 6!

the new CD Speed includes translations into 26 languages according to the website.

well, my CDSpeed has parts of it in Hebrew.
in the menubar, the File and Help menu titles (the words File and Help, not the contents of the menu when pulled down) are in Hebrew. but Run Test and Extra are in English!

also the Exit button is in Hebrew. so is the Close button in ScanDisc. but not the Start button in the main window, or the Copy button in Disc Info.

strange, very strange.
more so since my Regional and Language Options in the control panel are set to English US. however Language for non-Unicode programs is set to Hebrew.

is anyone else seeing such strange lingual phenomenon with the new CD Speed?
have i stumbled upon a bug?

OK, i may have been prematurely excited and happy.
in CD Quality Check, the Report C1 errors checkbox remains greyed out, i can't check it, with my 2 Plextor (non Premium) drives. :( :x

why o why???

OK, who can enable the C1 error reporting in CDSpeed, on what drives can you do this?
i'm guessing one brand at least - Lite-On! (haha surprise surprise).

too bad...

The C1 box is grayed out for me on one of my older systems (Windows 98, LTR-32123S XS0Z connected to a PCI IDE controller card). I haven't had a chance to test it on my WinXP system with a LTR-48125W attached to the motherboard's built in IDE controller.
