Image file Nero 5.5

I have used Roxio WinOnCD 5 to burn CDs.
In this software images were created automatically when burning files
from any partition of my hard drive.

Now my question:
When I'm using Nero 5.5, do I have to switch all the time
to Image Recorder in order to create an image?

Is it possible to let Nero create images automatically when having
chosen the burner as the recorder and not Nero Image Recorder?

Thanks for any replies! 8)

I'm afraid that's the case.
That's one of the reasons why I say that Nero has a stupid interface.
You can also can create an image by choosing the CD-Copy profile and aborting the process before burning... not very useful? :-?
I'd be happy to be proven wrong once more.

Thank you for your reply. Nevertheless I will be using Nero 5 rather than WinOnCd because WinOnCd is too automatic for me.
I like to have more options for burning CDs.

Me too.

But things can be well done or not.
And logic says that a good interface would be a big "Create Image" button and a big "Burn Image" button in the middle of the screen.

Nero has a better burning engine than WinOnCD (well, the WinOnCD I knew years ago) since version 5. (Although they messed the code again in a 5.x version until now and didn't work as it should in Win98. The burning engine in Nero6 is working well in Win98, for the moment...)
