sound trax question

Have just used sound trax for the first time to convert an old tape to CD. The copy is fine, but I'm left with a CD with one track 59 minutes long, and I am unable to skip to the different tracks on it, except by fast search.
Has anyone got any experience with this piece of software?

Regards Stretch

I don't know how this particular piece of software works, but I know that some programs that are made to convert tapes to CDs have a function that can split up that long single track into individual tracks by looking for periods of silence. I would suggest looking for a feature like that.

In Roxio SpinDoctor (included with ECDC 5 Platinum), there is a similar feature, but it didn't work well in my test with an old tape; it created far too many tracks. I just started and stopped the tape and the recording manually to create separate tracks for separate songs.

Go to http://www.cdwave.com -- awesome program to split a long WAV file into tracks. Won't do it manually, though.... but it's really easy to use.

Try Feurio, also available from Ahead's site.
