I've confirmed your findings. There is a bug in Nero 6.0.0.15 when used with the Plextor 708A recorder. And as you have found out there is no problem when you use Nero 6.0.0.11
I was about to generate a bug report, but found that this bug has already been resolved in Nero 6.0.0.16 and later releases. No bug report was generated by anyone else so it seem to have been resolved indirectly.
And since we are at the end of the month, I expect a new version of Nero 6 to be posted on our webiste any day now for those who do not wish to downgrade.

I have the same problem, v6.0.0.11 works but just with 2x speed for dvd+r. A full dvd need 52 minutes. The Nero Speedtest says 15,2x (20.976kb/s) with v6.0.0.15 and 11,3 with v6.0.0.11.
Nero v5.5.45 on the plextor software cd, burns dvd+r so slow as v6.0.0.11.

It burns cdr's like a charm incl. noname cdr's.
I dont have other burning software, a few burn dvd's too, but for video only. i need them for daily data backups of my harddisks.
