Nero burning DVD absorbs all system resources

Hi,

I'm experiencing for the first time recordingsessions on DVD, using Nero Burning Rom v. 6.0011. Just trying to burn several images (700MB each) as data to DVD, using the DVD-Rom (iso) function.

My question: is it normal that burning on DVD asks much more CPU-usage than burning CD's?

My system: Pentium 4, 2GHz, 786MB RAM, NEC ND-1300 DVD recorder.

Tnx!

No, that's not normal. Check the FAQ section on how to see if DMA is enabled.

Sorry, can't find this section. The FAQ link in the upper right is about using this forum. Can you tell me little more?

Frank

Thank you! This was great help.

Tnx again!
