I try and run Nero CD-DVD Speed and it gives me this error:
Error:Read of Scrambled Sector without Authentication(056F03)
It reads cd's fine but no dvd's.What is this?

Do this. Use something like PowerDVD or WinDVD to view play the movie. Close PowerDVD after movie starts. Then fire up CDSpeed.

That did it!!
Worked like a charm.
Why does it do that?Am I going to have to run WinDVD everytime to get it to work?
Just found out that my average speed is 5x.Way slow!!!!

It's the encryption on the disc. The DVD playback software "unlocks" the disc so you can benchmark it with CD Speed. Yeah, you'll need to do that after you insert the disc.
