NERO Express - Entire Disk Copy

I use Nero Express to copy entire disks "on the fly" between my DVD drive and burner. With v6.3.0, and the previous version, the burner goes through an extended "spin" at the END of the "Lead-out". It actually spins down and then back up 4-5 times before ejecting the finished CD. It never did this before. The burnt CD seems fine.

Any body else notice this? My burner is an ASUS CRW-4816A.

Thanks for any reply!

On-the-fly is just about the worst way you can copy something. In most cases people use:

- 2nd IDE Channel -
Master = Burner
Slave = Reader

The problem is they're connected to the same cable so it is really something not recomended.

Solution:

1. Burn CD/DVD images to your hard drive.
---Try a program called ISO Buster

2. Burn them back to a CD/DVD disk.

Easy & safe.

I use "on the fly" for quick burns of old audio CD's.

Primary IDE:
Slave = Reader

Secondary IDE:
Master = Burner

I'm getting good burns. It's the repeated "spin ups/downs" for around a minute that bothers me.

Thanks for the replies!
