I've spent the last couple of hours trying to copy a DVD to Nero digital. I selected the DVD-5 option and inserted a blank DVD+RW.




After an hour of encoding I get a message saying there is not enough space on the disc.



This is the case with blank DVD+RW's and DVD+R's.

Recode2'/DVDShrink's output size estimation is just that: an estimation. Use the advanced analysis mode and it'll hit it's target size exactly. If you don't feel like waiting for it, just drop the compression manually 1%. This shouldn't effect all DVD's...but there are a few that it over estimates the size on.

That's what I thought also, but I tried setting the output size to 4.3G with the same result. Go figure!

So, did anyone get a chance to verify this? This could be a great opportunity to get Ahead to fix it.
