Calibration error...in 6.3.1.6?

I used to burn 99mins discs w/o any problems before 6.3.1.6. But since I've upgraded, all my 99min burns got the "calibration error"... even if I try to burn around 850MB only, it says I need to overburn it... weird! don't these 99min discs has capacity of 870MB? I've already setup the option to overburn as i set it up for 99 mins in the preference panel.

is this a bug or am i suppose to click on another option to enable this feature again?

thanks in advance.

IF you have it set up in the Preferences panel of Nero, then that is all that is needed, for configuration on Nero's end.

If you downgrade to an older Nero 6, do you still have this issue?

I downgraded to 6303, but Nero becomes erratic now...sometimes it goes thru sometimes it gives me the "calibration error" again. But at least sometimes it goes thru... after a few restarts. Unlike in 6316, I never got a successful 99min burn.

I shouldn't have upgraded in the first place coz if it ain't broke don't fix it... :)

Did you use the Nero Clean tool to cleanly remove the 6.3.1.6 version before you installed it?

Did you check the power connection to your Recorder? Try a different power connector and use one not being shared by another device. This is a common cause of the Power Calibration Error.

I downgraded to 6303, I get to overburn discs 90% of the time, with occasional "calibration errors". I can live with it... I will be sticking with 6303 for now.

Thanks guys for the inputs.
