G'day! I used to have Nero 5 running a Samsung 52x 24x 52x, and it was doing alright. After I installed Nero 6.0.0.11 my max write speed, that used to be 52x, is not going further than 16x. It doesn't even give me the choice: the maximum showed is 16x. Does anyone have a clue? I am running it on Win 98SE. Thanks!

Update to the latest Nero 6

make sure DMA is enabled. read the FAQ for instructions.

update the firmware of your drive.

please don't double-post.
