Hello All
I'm having a problem making a compilation on Nero 6. When I start a new Audio cd then try dragging and dropping tracks from an audio cd, i get an error message saying insufficient hard drive space??? My hard disk is 40gb and is only 14.6gb full??? When i go into File/Preferences/Cache, it shows 15,035Mb free?
Anyone got any suggestions? Bug in Nero 6.3.1.6?
Many thanks

Do you have more than one Hard Drive?
And did you install Nero on the C:drive or the D: drive? If you installed on the D: drive, how much space do you have on the C: drive?
If you do have more than one Hard Drive, but your C: drive has 500MB or more free space, as a test, try uninstalling Nero and then reinstall on the C: drive. Do you still have this issue?

Craig

Thanks for the reply.
I have only one hard drive (c:) with lots of space left?
I tried uninstalling then installing again. Same problem as above.
Any more ideas?
Many thanks

Hi Npawsey,
Just wanted you to know that I have not forgotten your issue. I have another cusotmer reporting this issue, so there may be something going on here. I'm trying to reproduce this issue on a number of systems, and I have an OEM who will be showing me this issue on their system in the next day or two to help me resolve it.

Craig

Hi Npawsey,
Could you try installing our latest Nero 6.3.1.15 over your current version and see if this resolves your issue.
I was finally able to duplicate this issue on a Windows 98SE and 2000 system, and when I simply installed Nero 6.3.1.15 over the older version it resolved this issue.
I suspect a registry setting was incorrect.
Regards,
Craig
