I cannot find an option to set the booktype in Nero. I'm using a Lite-On LDW-851S. Can anyone help?

What ver. of Nero are you using?
I use 5.5 and it is located in "More" with Express and the burn tab with ROM.If you use 6 download the latest update because the changelog mentioned it "Improvement of booktype setting for some drives".

I'm using the latest version posted on July 2. The option is nowhere to be found. I don't understand why.

It's now moved to the drive properties. (Select Recorder) It doesn't work on many drives. They appear to be using a simple list of supported drives, but so far nobody has posted whether hacking that list will accomplish anything. Probably not.

Thanks rdgrimes, I found it, thanks to your direction. It does work with my drive...Liteon 851s.
