Nero Express 6.0 / Adding files

Adding a folder or a file:

I'm able to add a file using Nero Express 6.0 by copying a folder from My
Documents onto the desktop and then dragging the folder onto the interface of Nero and then clicking to burn.

Or, by going to Windows Exploring and dragging the folders/files onto the Nero interface.

However, if I want to add a folder - or file - by trying to use the
green/white _add_ icon on the upper right hand side of the interface, I get
an hourglass and my computer hangs.

Nothing happens.

I throught that I could click on this icon to get another box with the folders that I wanted to select for insertion onto the CD.

I am using:
----------
Pentium II @ 350mhz
Windows 98
Nero Express 6.0.0
------------

Many thanks for your advice.

By tomorrow, we will have the latest version of Nero 6.3.x posted on our webiste located under Downloads and Previous Versions. I would recommend that you upgrade to this and see if this resolves your issue.

Or, you can upgrade to our latest Nero 6.6.0.1 from our webiste now, located under Downloads.

Regards

Craig

Thanks for the reply Craig.

What site would that be for the Nero Express download?

Please advise on the URL.
Thank you.

Have you heard about this issue before?

Best,
TR

Thank you.

I checked out that link.

However, I have Nero Express 6.0 which was bundled as an OEM disc from Pacific Digital.

When using that link that you listed, it seems that they are upgrades.

What I've installed is just Nero Express 6.0 and wanted to know why my computer hangs when trying to use the _add_ icon on the interface to select folders/files for insertion.

As I said, drop and drag from Windows Exploring works fine but I wanted to know why the other feature does not work.

I am using:
Windows 98 - Gold [First Edition]
PII @ 350 mhz

Thank you.

Nero 6.0x and Nero 6.3x users who have Retail bundles or OEM 3 bundles are etititled to a free upgrade to Nero 6.6

We will have Nero 6.3 previous versions posted on our website soon, just as we did for Nero 5.5 when it was discontinued.

I have not seen this, but you do have a very old version of Nero 6 that had a number of issues when it first came out.

Craig

Thanks Craig.

Let me get this straight.

I purchased a Pacific Digital CD-RW / DVD drive.

In the box was a CD with both Nero _Express_ 6.0.0 and PowerDVD.

I've installed Nero Express.

If I want to upgrade to a more recent version, all I have to do is download the program off of the URL's you mentioned?

If I am using:
PII @ 350mhz
Windows 98 _Gold_[First Edition}

Please advise what upgrade that you recommend and if I will be prompted for any other information.

Like I said, the disc was not purchased as a stand alone retail box - but bundled with the hardware.

Thank you again,
TR

yes, you can still use those update/upgrade files from the website.
just download the Nero file (package 1 i think it's called) and double-click. it will update your Nero Express 6.0 to 6.6
