Hi guys

I think that there is a problem with last version of Ahead Nero Burning Rom 6.6.0.6 and previus versions. The image created with Nero become corrupted, I related it:

How to reproduce the bug (NOT depend on Hardware Devices):

1º Choose "Image Recorder" as actual Burner.
2º Select new CD-ROM ISO compilation (is posible that the problem persit in other compilation type).
3º In ISO Page pick "Mode 1"as Data Mode.
4º Select "Disc at Once" as write method (if you chose TAO the image works fine).
5º When burning compilation, you are prompted to Save file, choose "ISO Image File" not NRG.

The image created is then useless. But using previous version 6.3.2.0 the problem doesn't exist.

Please I need some information for howto to repair image created with these versions, is very important. I tried Iso Buster without success.

Thanks You

Hi Kusdra,

Looks like you have indeed found a bug. I am able to duplicate this in Nero 6.6.0.6, but not in Nero 6.6.0.1.

I've created a bug entry on this issue. Not sure if this can be resolved before the new build we hope to post around Feb 22nd or later.

But I'll do what I can.

Regards,

Craig

I couldn't belive is also present in 6.6.0.7 after I email them telling this issue in december 2004. Then I post here.

As much as I use Nero as much as I hate it. I have other three minor issues that are present from the 5.5 versions. And every time I updgrade it I found that it still present.

Can anyone say me if there is another program to make my own compilation?

ThankYou

I've been looking also :-? If you find one, please be sure to post! :)

Doing the research seems to come up with Nero, even with all the problems, is the most comprehensive/best available. However there seems to be some promise for a new package called CDBurnerXP. Their homepage cdburnerxp.se is down as of Feb 17, but a forum post elsewhere marks that as temporary as they get closer to a release.
