No changelog yet.

The maximize issue seems to be fixed.

Didn't tested the image creation bug.

So I decide to burn a DVD on the fly to actually verify if buffer underrun has been disabled. This is what I got.

Do we need to setup a beta testing program to save Nero some embarrassment? If so I would like to volunteer!!

Is the link to update package 6 broken? All the others worked, but the last download never finds the file it needs... I think it's for Nero Photoshow Express...

OK, I also just updated to 6.6.0.8 as well as pkg 2, this version seems to be MUCH faster in launching the Nero SMart Start/NeroVison Express 3/Nero Burning Rom/Show Time and Recode.

The only slight miss is the MAX thing still not working for NeroVision Express 3. No problem with the Buffer Under thing.

In the latest release of Nero Vision Express 3 the option to NOT create a menu has disappeared.

by Chinchman
@Steve335: It has not disappeared, it only moved.

On the menu-creation screen in the top right select-box where it says "menus to use" there is the option "don't create a menu". Just select that to disable menus.

Hey steve, can you look under "Video Editing" of the forum section and help me out, thanks. (I know U can, cause U R a GURU ), just don't want to double post here, thanks. 8)

Thanks Chinchman, I see it now in the drop-down box.

Now if only Nero would add the option 'Keep original menu' in NVE3 when converting between NTSC and PAL DVD-video, so you can keep the original DVD menu from the source disc, then that would be great. Unless Nero adds the option to convert between NTSC and PAL in Nero Recode - that would be better.

There's no such thing as ISO9660:1999, shows how carefully Nero folkes read standards.

Hi Skypx,

I'm not able to duplicate this issue with any model Plextor DVD Recorder. The 'BurnProof' feature is selectable, and the Nero 6.6.0.8 does work with two Plextor 716A amd 716UF model recorders.

Hi Ian,

Yes, this version does support LightScribe features, but you must have the following conditions met before it will support the LightScribe feature.

1) Any retail serial number will unlock the LightScribe feature. (Only up from 6.6.0.8e)

2) Drive supporting LightScribe
3) The LightScribe host software must be installed which can soon be downloaded here: http://www.nero.com/en/System_Requirement_Updates.html

Regards,

Craig

Ian,

I need to apologize to you, Nero and all the members on this forum. The problem was not caused by Nero but by a completely different program. Sorry for the confusion.

"Update"

The problem I experienced was caused by DVD region+CSS free v5.70. A fix can be found below.

Does this mean the immediate previous release only detected DVD-DL drives and not support DVD-R DL writing?

Thanks and regards,

bimbla.

AMD chips can't run LightScribe!

The Nero 6.6.0.8 update added Nero_LS_ENG.CHM, a help file for the new LightScribe direct disc labeling capability

Under Requirements, this file says LightScribe needs a 500 MHz or better Intel CPU (in addition to the proper CD burner and Windows 2000 or Windows XP).

One of my computers is based on an AMD Sempron and the other (an ancient Pentium) runs Win98SE. Thus it seems pointless for me to buy a LightScribe-enabled CD burner. What's up with that? ;)

Hoxlund, Epson has R200, R300 and now R320 Cd/DVD capable printing printer which are you talking about or which one is more user friendly and does quality printing on C/DVD?. Thanks for the information

all three models do exactly same resolution printing, you paying for speed for the 300 upgrade and your paying for the color lcd window for the r320
