Backup after formatting using INCD4 (adding pictures)

I have followed all the suggestions about disabling windows burn engine etc. I now would like to know what the proper way is to add pictures taken with my digital camera to a DVD that was formatted using INCD4. I used INCD because I want to be able to drag and drop using windows explorer (or whatever interface Nero has that I should be using) as I take new pictures.

I tried using windows explorer and it wouldn't work. I also burned a cd/r using burning rom (I believe). I clicked add and then when it was done I was able view the pics in thumbnail mode, but it would not let me double click to enlarge. I just updated to all the most recent updates last night prior to burning the cd/r.

Can someone please tell me exactly how I am supposed to get a DVD to act as a hard drive and then what program to use to add pictures at later dates?
Thanks,
Brad

Dear Brad,

You should be able to format the RW media using InCD. In My Computer, after inserting the media, click with the right button on the drive letter to open the context menu and chose "InCD Format...". Type in the name you want to give to the media and kept the default for the other options. Once the format has complete, you should be able to drag'n'drop files (like pictures) to the drive letter like you can do on your harddisk(s).

If this does not work, tell us at which step you have an unexpected behavior.

(Notice that if you have already data on the media, they will be destroyed by the formatting as the format dialog will tell you.)

Followed instructions
