I have all the newest updates, but it is very, very slow to open the window for me to search my folders for the pictures I want to view. A window pops up lots of times that says, "Switch to other program" or something similar. If I hit switch, it opens the start menu for some reason. Nothing happens and the window keeps popping up. Finally, it will go away after X'ing out of the little window. All I am trying to do is open the windows explorer type window that opens when I click open folder button in Nero PhotoSnap. It defaults to my computer and I have to drill down to the my picks folder. However, the above error occurs which either takes a really long time or it gives me the "switch to other program" error.

I did at one time mess with the virtual memory per the instruction of HP support.

Any thoughts? My laptop has the amd 64-bit processor.

Well, I changed the virtual memory to system managed as instructed by HP and the problem is still ocurring. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
