I have just purchased a DVD burner and wish to rip and cimpile my music collection on dvd's and play them through my home stereo system. The player would be a DVD/MP3/VCD PLAYER. I am not sure what format the vdv needs to be burned in to be able to play mp3 files on a DVD stand alone player. I tried ISO9000 and that didn't work. Any suggestions.

I always burn my DVD MP3 disks for my DVD/VCD/MP3 5-disk player as normal data DVDs and the work perfectly. I have heard however that some "MP3" playing DVD players will ONLY play CD-R MP3 disks, this might be the case with yours. Check the DVD compatability tables on www.videohelp.com and see what others say about your model.
