Multi-sessions on DVD+RW?

Many yrs ago when I started burning CDRs using Roxio with CDRW burner, I burned a few CDRs in multi-sessions mode and yrs later I found out those multi-sessions discs were difficult or not readable at all by new DVD burner with Nero (whereas those burned in non-multi-sessions/disc-at-once had no problems).

I am wondering if anyone have any experience with DVDRs (be it DVDRs or DVDRWs)? I guess with DVDRWs I can always rewrite them if anything goes wrong in the future, but how about DVDRs? if I'm to burn them in multi-sessions instead of non-multi-sessions/disc-at-once, will I face the same difficuly/non-readable problems as my old CDRs in the future?

How do you guys burn your DATA ONLY DVDRs? multi-sessions or non-multi-sessions (track-at-once/disc-at-once)? Thanks for your feedback in advance.

Multi-session is only supported on DVD+R and only XP/2000 can read and write them.
As for reading those old CD's try ISOBuster
