nero up dates

as you know nero has updates every 2-3 weeks.
Is it safe to delete the old exe updates? TKS

Yes, one may delete old updates, particularly after installing the most recent, however:

don't just delete the old exe's, use the add/remove programs, then install the new stuff followed by a reboot. You can also use the 'nero general clean tool' from their web site.

One time (at band camp) my burns turned horrible, so I thought it was my burner, but I knew it was a couple days after installing a bunch of updates, so I decided to delete ALL the nero programs and run the clean tool, followed by a re-install of just the nero stuff I actually use........ all was well (at band camp). :P

yes it's a strange thing with nero. Their so called 'updates' are, in fact, the latest complete program installs of that version -- so you can do a 'clean' install instead of updating what already exists. Provided you have the original valid serial number when it asks for it.
