Nero 7 and card readers
Posted: Thu Dec 01, 2005 7:28 amI went to move photos from a smart media card to my pc for the first time since I installed Nero 7 Ultra 7.0, using the card reader that came preinstalled with the pc, a new Dell XPS 400. Problem was that no pictures showed on the card after I double clicked the drive for the reader, though there were really 35 pictures on the card.
As the reader worked fine before installing Nero, and since I had not installed any new programs since, I decided to uninstall Nero, on the hunch that Nero may have something to do with the problem. Doing so not only uninstalled Nero, it uninstalled all the drives associated with the reader from My Computer and from Device Manager.
Dell tech support helped me restore the drives.
Does anyone know how to get a refund from Nero for their pathetic program?
