I'm getting frustrated with Nero 7. This newest update gives me an error "The InCD API could not be loaded" ....and to top it off...the damn thing still says it's a demo in add/remove programs. What are the programmers doing.

Hey, the retail boxed version didn't even RUN on my rig...I ended up giving my copy to a friend. Yeah, I know: I'm not a very good friend for doing that (especially since she's a newbie). Oh well...

This reminds me of the (equally buggy) 6.0 launch. Back then I stuck with 5.x; now, I use EMC 8. It's the first version of EMC to work well on my pc, and I'm really liking the interface alot better; Nero 7 is aimed right at newbies.

Thats all fine and dandy, but give use power users a break!

I've been toying with EMC 8 but it's still much too crash-prone for my liking. I manage to lock it up (even with the latest patch installed) breathing wrong in its prescence. EMC 7 was like that too but a tiny bit more stable.

The last really solid round was ECDC 5 (although I know some -- many-- hated that) and Nero 5.5... everything since has been an arms race of bloat. :/

Installed Nero 7.0.8.2 full functional and Nero Vision also functional (DVD & CD) no problem so far, Nero Record also OK.

NoticeTo Those Having Problem:

Before Installing Nero 7.0.8.2:

1) remove all the existing Nero with Nero Clean Tools

2) manually remove Nero Folder from All Programs under your C drive

3) Find C:\Documents and Setting\UserName\LocalSetting\Temp and delete all files in this temp folder ( This is very important step).

4) Reboote your computer then install the Nero 7.0.8.2

After installation you should have trouble free installed Nero.

Good Luck
