Hi Caps,

I believe I just responded to this issue in anothet thread. Below is a copy of that response. :-)

-------------

First, the 'DVD Copy' option will never allow you to create a 'Multi-Session' disc, no matter who's software you use. Any copy process will automatically close the disc upon completion of the write.

It sounds like what you want to do is take say 5 DVD-Videos disc, and combine them into one DVD-Video disc, is this correct?

If it is, then you can do this with the Nero Recode software. In the Nero Recode software that comes with Nero 6.6 and Nero 7, there is an option called "Compile a DVD". And with this feature, you can select various VOB source files and burn them to one DVD.

However, there is one bug that we are still working to resolve. And that is this feature will only accept one DVD-ROM drive as a source for VOB files. All other VOB files will have to be stored on a hard drive or Network drive.
We hope to have this resolved in the future so that you can select multiple DVD-ROM drives as the source for 'Compiling a DVD'.

Regards,

Craig

I finally found additional resources and have been taking each small dvd and doing dvd decrypt then dvd shrink then I am finally able to use sonic mydvd to transfer all to (only 3 small dvd's) onto one large dvd.
I am having a problem that everytime I make a large dvd it tends to choose one spot where the video freezes up & the audio continues.
I have re-done all the steps to see why but no luck in avoiding this. I am even making sure the small discs are spotless before decrypting & shrinking.

(Nero will do it but I always lose my audio for some reason. - so I have not been using it.)

I am beyond frustrated at this point. I don't even know what else to do.

I can not assist too much with MyDVD, only because I'm not knowledgeable enough about the software, not because its a competitor.

But I did just now do two very small VOB files with MyDVD and they worked, but then small VOB files are not much of a challenge.

When you say you are using Nero, but you still loose audio, are you using Nero Recode or our Nero Vision software?

Craig

Use the Nero Recode software and see if this resolves your issue.

Of course, the one draw back is that there are no Menus when you use the Nero Recode software to 'Compile a DVD' from 2 or more VOB source files.
