NeroVision Gray Bars On Captured Video

When capturing video from my DVR, some of the captures have two gray bars, one on the top of the screen and the other on the bottom. Does anyone know of a way to stop them from showing up?

This only occurs on some of the videos, not all?
How are you doing the capture?
I mean, I know your using the Nero Vision software for the capture, but how are you connecting the DVR to your computer for the capture? What hardware are you using?
