I use BIU for backing up several directories on a multiple user XP workstation. I just noticed that the scheduled jobs hadn't run because the 'administrator' hadn't logged on. I cannot be constantly logging in as admin for these jobs to run ... is there a way to install the BIU scheduler as a service??

Edit: I see in the help file that the scheduler is loaded via the startup folder ... so, I think that I might (at least) try copying the shortcut to the "all users/startup" folder. However, I can find no instance of any shortcut to the BIU scheduler in any startup folder(??)

Any ideas?

With BackItUp 2, which comes with Nero 7, it has the ability to log you in, do the backup, and then log you back out.

BIU 1&2 does not run as a serivce in the background at this time.
