Nero 7.5.1.1: Massive "pauses"
Posted: Mon Sep 18, 2006 11:09 pmI installed Nero 7.5.1.1 today. I bought Nero 7 retail when it came out, but this was the first version I'd installed: I'd used Nero 6 up until now.
I chose InCD (oddly enough, that's the one component that doesn't seem to install by default). I don't know if it was InCD's fault or not, but, after rebooting:
My computer just froze, locked up, for seconds at a time, repeatedly. It wasn't exactly regularly, but often. The computer would unlock, but it would quickly lock up again.
I uninstalled Nero 7, and haven't had a pause since. I haven't even shut down and rebooted yet, but the pauses are gone.
Anyone else experience anything like this? With earlier versions? (I don't see any obvious mention of this in the message board.) I don't know if this is something broken in 7.5.1.1 or something specific with my setup.
