BackItUp Restore Problem

Backing up files using version 1.2.0.35.

When I try to restore I get "the backup information file is corrupted".

I then tried restoring by double-clicking via Windows Explorer. I was able to restore all files except for files under a certain users's My Documents folder. When I double-click one of those files it asks "the folder does not exist, do you want to create the named folder". If I answer Yes it says "sorry, the folder cannot be created, the path is not correct". If I answer No, a Save File box opens where I can put the filename I wish to restore. When I click Save it says "unable to decompress the file".

I am at a loss as to why I am able to restore some of the files but not the ones in a certain folder and sub-folders.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
