Burner is unavailable after uninstall

Hello all, when I uninstall Nero 7.7.5.1 my DVD burner becomes unavailable after I reboot. Am I doing something wrong when I uninstall Nero?...any help would be much appreciated.....cheers

Did you ever have any other Recording software installed on your system?
Try the below link and run the Registry checker tool. Sometimes there are drivers loading in the Upper and/or Lower filters to cause this issue. IF that is the case, this will resolve it.
