The latest version of Nero 8 uses ALL 4GB of ram whenever I create an image (using Vista 64). Anyone else experiencing this?

I don't use Nero 8 and I don't use Vista... Try ImgBurn... less headaches.

If you are using Vista 64 and Nero 8, can you please help with the verification of this bug? I've been in contact with customer support and they are convinced the issue is not related to the latest version of Nero 8. Thank you in advance.

Forgot to mention, the issue presents itself when I create an image of a DVD. Thanks.

Update..... Nero is aware of the problem. Below is part of an e-mail from tech support.

"thank you for your e-mail and please excuse the delay.

I talked to our developers and they were already able to reproduce the problem so please excuse my previous e-mail. The problem is not that Nero takes up to 4GB RAM but the Windows Vista cache Nero uses takes up to 4GB RAM.

The problem will be solved with one of our next Nero updates but unfortunately I'm not able to tell you with which version as this task is currently in work.

Should you have any further queries, please do not hesitate to contact us again."
