saving both audio and videro from a dvd

hi
using nero 6 i want to save the audio portion from one dvd and the video portion from another dvd from my cd dvd recorder in my computer.which is the best way to do it?save it to my hard drive?but how?thanks.

So, you want to rip the video from one and the audio from another? What then? Combine the two?

Perhaps this is a dumb question, but why the hell would you want to do that?!!? Can you explain? Additionally, gotta think Nero would not be the tool for that.

well one dvd the picture quaility is great but the sound terrible.on the other dvd good sound but not so good picture...

There are a number of applications that will let you rip the audio from a DVD. Here are a few I found using Google:

Otherwise use DVD Decrypter (Google for download link.. its free) and enable stream processing. From there, you just select the audio stream that you want to extract. You can do the same thing to rip the video from the other DVD.

To put it together, you'll need a video editing application. Just add the video and then the audio track. The hard part is going to be getting the audio and video to match up (talking, etc).
