Hi,

I'm a newbie to Nero Burning Rom / Nero Express, and was wondering how do you, or can you convert mp3 audio tracks to another format so you can burn them onto cd and listen to them in a normal hi-fi?

Thanks in advance

Sure. Just select "Audio CD" as the type of CD you want to burn, and drag the mp3 files into the track selection window. Nero will automatically convert them to CDA (CD Audio) format and create a regular CDA disc that will play in any audio CD player.

Thanks! As easy as that!

What's the quality like doing this?

The quality depends on the source mp3 files.

Most of mine are 320kbps, but I've had good results with 160kbps too.
If you're going to be listenig with headphones, go with a higher bitrate mp3 as your source.

If you're making a disc to listen to in the car, 128kbps should be fine too. You'll probably never hear the difference over the road/car noise anyway.
