Hello,

I have the winOncd 6.0 CD and nero5.5.
I don't want to install winoncd but only directCD.

Does anyone know how to do this? :o

Thanks,

Alfred

Install WinOnCD, then DirectCD (get it here), then uninstall WinOnCD and install Nero. I think that should work.

Thanks for the help

I had this idea too, but I didn't want to install winoncd first.

But after having no other solution I installed winoncd, then directcd and uninstalled winoncd: Now direct cd gives me an error message that I have to install winoncd first to use direct cd.

Any other suggestions?

Alfred

Nope. Leave WinOnCD installed then - with minimal resources. It doesn't bother Nero in any way...

I have Nero5 and DCD v5.3 Platinum installed on my W2K pro Sp3 machine, running stable. I did a custom install of EZCD 5 and unchecked everything except Direct CD. Installed the latest update and voila!

I did install Nero 5 first. I had InCD installed as well for a while but removed it since I don't need DCD and InCD both.
