InCD does not recognize my external Firewire Burner.

I have an internal burner inside an external enclosure so I can hook it up to my laptop. It has both Firewire and USB 2.0 outputs but I only have Firewire on my laptop. When I connect the drive to the laptop using Firewire, Nero recognizes the burner and I can burn cd's. However InCD does not recognize the burner. I switched to USB 1.1 to test if it is my burner or the enclosure that is the problem. Using USB 1.1, InCD does recognize the burner. I am using a 52x24x52 Lite-on burner.

I have no idea how to fix this because of all the places it could go wrong:
Burner - unlikely
Enclosure - unlikely
Firewire card/drivers - likely
InCD program - likely

Where do I start?

Nevermind. Solved my own problem within in 15 minute of posting, LOL.

If you are curious, I had my burner as slave in the enlosure so switched it to master to see if it did anything. Well, that fixed the problem.
