When I try to load InCD from the Nero startup disk it keeps telling me it can't run with DirectCD. I have removed every DirectCD associated file and drive I can find. Does anyone have an idea of what I am missing or how I can go about getting InCD installed?

You deleted everything from Program Files?

Turn off the burning features in XP. Type gpedit.msc @ the Run menu.

After that its in the Windows Explorer section... can't remember exactly where but you should be able to find it. Right click and select disable.

You can also try to remove any reg entires with this.

Be sure to only delete entries that say Roxio or DirectCD in the left hand column.

Though I'm not sure why you want to install InCD. IMO DirectCD is much less problematic and reliable.

Depending on your Windows version, take a look at S11 in

Also tell us which version of InCD you have on the Nero disc, and whether you tried 3.52.00b from Ahead's site as well.
