Power Supply help

Okay need to ask how much power would i need for 4 IDE drives, 1 DVD burner and of course motherboard. My box is actting crazy wantted to know if maybe I am out of power

According to your system specs in the sig and the info you provided, I think you need atleast a 300-350watt PSU. If you have anything under 300 watts, you need a new power supply for sure. If your planning on adding more stuff to your system, go with a 400 watt power supply to keep your system happy during future upgrades.

Don't forget to pick up a PSU from Antec, Enermax, Sparkle, or any other high quality company.

How is your computer acting crazy?Some common signs of a failing or inadequate PSU are:
1.you get "Boot Disk Failure","Invalid Command",etc.
2.you get to CMOS screen then your monitor goes black
3.your desktop freezes
BTW..these are also symptoms of a virus so you might want to run a virusscan.

i have gotten #3 twice recentlyI have a 350W PS
I got my PC to boot and say it can't find the primary master or slave
I disable my raid and it then booted. but asked me what drive to use to boot

The thing to do is unplug a pair of your drives and then see what happens (unplugg completey...IDE cable and PSU connector), and if things are still screwy, then it isn't your PSU.
