I've used one a couple steps up from that, with the analog joysticks. It is great. I would get a Logitech wingman rumblepad. It has 9 buttons, a arrow pad, 2 analog joysticks, and 2 motors for great vibration...you can get rid of the vibrations with a simple press of a button. ( I got it for $22 from staples after price match.

I bought it and it is very good, it is very acurrate and easy to use.
I downloaded the logitech Gaming software (not included) which is wonderful becuase it has a huge library of game profiles in the software and on the internet.
This is recommended if anyones buys this controller you can download it at http://www.wingmanteam.com/index.htm
