I used coconut oil instead of thermal grease.

Dear all,
One day I cleaned my system and found that after I put the HSF on the processor the temp. of the CPU climbed to 66 C.Before that it was maximum of about 55 C under full load.I was shcoked and then rang a hardware store near me.I asked him for any thermal grase and the guy said that they did not have any available at that time.So I just thought for a while and dabbed the die ofthe CPU with a drop of pure coconut oil. .I was shocked to find that the oil functioned exactly as thermal grease. The max. temp. at full load was as normal 55 C.
Can anybody tell me how coconut oil works as thermal conductor?
Waiting for some posts.....
