Hi guys..I just bought me a new Gigabyte Titan P4 motherboard and a 1.7 GHz Intel Celeron Processor. I installed the chipset drivers (on Arabic-enabled Win98SE) and all the drivers. The problem is that when I choose to shut down the computer from Window, the computer restarts. I noticed something: I hear the harddisk shut down, but then it goes on again..as if the computer shuts down and something turns it on again. What could be the problem? a faulty power supply? a software problem? a motherboard problem? Please help. Thanks in advance.

I had similars problems on my system with Windows 98 SE. I found this article and downloaded the "shutdown supplement". After that, everything worked properly.

Thanks a lot, Wolo. I switched the 'Resume on Ring and LAN' options from the BIOS off and the PC shut down perfectly :D Thanks again for the valuable advice.
