while you enjoy 12x burning & sata support, i will be enjoying huge saving & dvd+r dl support from other mfg....708a was disappointing & i won't trust plextor for dvd burning

it is probably wise to skip 12x burning and go for 16x burning because the time gap between 12x & 16 would be shorter than ever

How do you get a huge saving AND DVD+R DL support, you don't! The media will likely be $4-5 PER DISC!!!
