How to see which core is a processor?

Since my wholesaler didn't have the processor until June 15th (probably) I went to downtown an check prices, surprisely they have almost the same price.

But how I check which core is it, does it say in the box?

I think the only real way to tell is to open it up, find the code on the processor head, and head to either AMD or Intel's website to check.
