my new soundcard question

hi
i just got this new sounfcard....its an encore brand card...anyway ive been noticing the sound coming out of the speakers as being uneven..one minate its loud and the next is low..ive installed it ok according to directions...maybe i dont have it configured correctly...is there a basic setup for doing this?thanks..

Try downloading the latest drivers from the Encore web site:

Looks like it uses the VIA chipset... Don't know much about it, don't own it. Did you disable your onboard sound first in the BIOS (assuming your PC came with integrated sound). Might be a conflict

hi guys

i finally got a new soundblaster card audugy se...i noticed while uasing audacity the sound being too low..i connected my onkyo tx-8211 to a preamp but im not sure it can handle a preamp.how do u properly connect it to a reciever?

hi again

i got a new card by soundblaster audigy se.when i played it with aydacity i noticed that the input wasnt to strong so i got a preamp but im not sure if itll work with my amp.the amp is an onkyo tx-8211.it has an input 4 a phono, speaker inputs(of course)a cd player input but no aux input.can i get some kind of adopter for the aux would that work?
