It's weight about 3.2 KG and comes with Windows XP Home Edition .

I'm gonna use it mainly for MP3 , Internet , College Work , and ocasionally light gaming .

What's more important to you?

Watching DVD's or burning CD's?

Do laptops come with combo CDRW/DVD's like the LG one?

Laptop's do come with CD-RW/DVD combo drives and I would highly recommend getting one for your laptop.

The only other thing I would change is the video card. Try to get a laptop that has a integrated video chip made by ATI or Nivida with atleast 16MB of RAM. This will greatly increase the performance and quality when watching DVD movies and playing games. Other than those 2 things I mentioned, pretty good lap-top overall.

The specs are reasonable for a laptop, if your budget allows, you might want to opt for a DVD/CDRW combo drive and possibly a video option that does not utilize shared video memory.

I was playing with a Laptop the other day with a combo CDRW/DVD drive with a G2 to go vid card in it....ran Unreal Tournament great (Not 2003)

For a laptop for really any type of gaming......Onboard Vid should not be an option......ATI or Nvidia will do nicely.

Laptops are great looking and cool to own. BUT once u have to maintain the hardware you are talking big bucks. Believe me-I maintain systems for a living. (I.E. a keyboard for a laptop can run u up to $300.00)
